I got this from Celeste this morning:
Q-comp funds have been approved for the three teachers to attend the writing conference over MEA break. I believe the next level of signatures is a formality. However, I am not sure of how or when funds are released.

Another Request

Rick Halley just sent me an email asking this....this is a personal request...right??


I would like more training on Response to Intervention. Is this something the staff development might consider? I see there is a conference in Bloomington on October 20th.

Another Idea

Kelli Amie just stopped me in the teacher's lounge. She was asking if we were going to do anything with diversity. Apparently her husband does something with the University of Wisconsin (?) and working with diversity. She said if it had to be volunteer...he could come in...if there was any money...he could bring in a whole team to do half day, or whole day workshop stuff.
I told her to get something together, or come in and talk to our committee.....
I didn't know what else to say.....

An Idea

Ken Schentzel came to me this morning to ask about the possibility of doing a staff development day like we had done in the past....I do remember this:
It was a District Wide day, we signed up for various sessions, based on interests, as well as things that helped to fulfill our licensure requirements.
He said he has spoken to people who like this idea, and want to do it again.
